Eric Luckenbach knows his way around the gym: nineteen years of superlative coaching will provide plenty of knowledge and experience, which are just some of the many qualities Eric brings to the table as a senior member of the LAVA North coaching staff. While his playing career encompasses the trifecta of high school, club, and collegiate levels, Eric has truly made his biggest and best mark on the volleyball world through his coaching, which includes superlative stints at: Hamilton High School and Van Nuys High School when he lived in the San Fernando Valley, guiding those schools to league championships five out of six years; Windward High School, Malibu High School, and Corpus Christi School, where her played deep in CIF repeatedly and won multiple league titles when he lived and worked in West Los Angeles and the Pacific Palisades; and Santa Monica College, where he won two Western Conference Championships. Now based in Santa Clarita, Eric was named in 2013 as the Head Varsity Girls Coach at Saugus High School, and led his team to the playoffs in his first season.

Eric also had the distinction of operating as Club Director of the Pacific Palisades Volleyball Club for eight years and Assistant Director of SMBC Girls North for three years, coaching a variety of age groups, before making the move to LAVA Girls, where he is now a veteran coach and administrator for the LAVA North staff—not to mention handles uniforms for all of LAVA Girls as a professional distributor and Adidas representative.
